It is narrated by Saaiduna Abu Saeed Ar Rafi bin Al- Mu'alla that the Prophet of Allah said; "Shall I teach you the greatest Surah in the Qur'an before you leave the mosque?" Then He took me by the hand, and when we were about to step out, I reminded
" This is also known as Hadith Qudsi Number 8 " Explaining this Hadith. The last Hadith used the word [Salah] `prayer' in reference to reciting the Qur'an, (Al-Fatihah in this case) just as Allah said in another Ayah, Reciting Al-Fatihah is required in Every Rak`ah of the Prayer. All of these facts testify to the requirement that reciting Al-Fatiha is the prayer from the devotee and the rest of the Qur'an is the answer from Allah. The devotee prays to Allah to show the "Right Way" and Allah places the whole of the Qur'an before him in answer to his prayer, as if to say: "This is the Guidance that you have asked for".
